Bill Dolling
To all members of the WVPC,

it is with deepest regret that I write to you to let you know that my Grandfather (Bill Dolling) former member and former chairman of the club, passed away today aged 89 years.

Bill has fought cancer now for the past 3 years, and up until Christmas was doing very well.

Bill thoroughly enjoyed his time with the club and he and I used to spend many weekends in fields with the members sharing our love for the preservation of vehicles. He also loved organising events during his time as chair.

for anyone wishing to pay their respects please get in touch with me and I'll happily pass on the arrangements as and when they are made.

I can be contacted via email at:

Jakeyspencer82@gmail.com

many thanks

Jason Dolling (Bill's Grandson)

Jason
It was very sad to hear of the death Of Bill and despite no longer being a member of the WVPC I was privileged to attend Bills funeral with Norman from the BPPC
I have many memories of club activities organised by Bill during my membership of the WVPC which started in 1999

Regards

Dennis

Classic vehicles for child safety week
I work at a special school for children with learning difficulties and we are organising an Environment and Child Safety Week between the 4th - 8th June.I'm hoping that we might have vehicles and personnel from the emergency services attend during the course of the week and was wondering if any of your members perhaps owned any old emergency vehicles that they could bring along? If not, do you you know of a local club or owner that specialises in that type of vehicle? It would also be good to have older cars/vans to show how vehicle design has changed to enhance passenger and pedestrian safety. Any information or assisitance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Honda ss125a
Hi,
I saw you had a Honda Ss125A at the Bristol show.
If you are looking for the frame to be repaired around the mainstand, i can do this along with engine rebuilds and suppling better fitting gaiters.
