Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show
Well done Colin you did us proud
This was our third year at Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show as a club and it turned out to be third time lucky, as club member Colin Baker scooped the top prize for the best Non Production category and the trophy was well deserved. Colin's Triumph/Greeves looked stunning and was placed at the front of the stand where it caught the judge's eye. The project took 12 months of dedication with all the work from the original sketches to the finished machine being done by Colin himself. It involved putting a Triumph
Tiger 90 engine into a Greeves frame. The outcome looked as if it had just come off a production line.
The whole weekend was a great success with a packed stand and all membership forms taken. We must once again thank Tibs Axon and Margaret Burgess for the endless supply of sausage rolls, homemade scones and endless cakes that were eaten much quicker than they were baked. Thank you Ladies for your sterling efforts. I would like to thank all those that bought along a bike and also those who assisted beforehand. We all look forward to next year.
